Find your running shoe size
A two-minute measurement and one chart are all you need to order with confidence. We sell EU sizes, mostly 38 to 45.
How to measure your foot
- Measure in the evening, when your feet are at their largest. Wear the socks you run in.
- Stand on a sheet of paper against a wall, with your heel touching the wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe, then measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres.
- Do both feet and use the longer measurement.
Find your length in the “Foot length” column below. If it falls between two rows, take the larger. For running you want about 0.5–1 cm of space in front of your longest toe, so treat the chart as a starting point rather than a promise.
EU, US and UK size chart
This is a general guide based on Nike’s published size charts. Every brand cuts its shoes a little differently, so a different model can fit a half size either way.
| EU | US men | US women | UK | Foot length (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 36 | 4 | 5.5 | 3.5 / 3 | 22.5–23 |
| 36.5 | 4.5 | 6 | 4 / 3.5 | 23–23.5 |
| 37.5 | 5 | 6.5 | 4.5 / 4 | 23.5 |
| 38 | 5.5 | 7 | 5 / 4.5 | 24 |
| 38.5 | 6 | 7.5 | 5.5 / 5 | 24–24.5 |
| 39 | 6.5 | 8 | 6 / 5.5 | 24.5–25 |
| 40 | 7 | 8.5 | 6 | 25–25.5 |
| 40.5 | 7.5 | 9 | 6.5 | 25.5–26 |
| 41 | 8 | 9.5 | 7 | 26–26.5 |
| 42 | 8.5 | 10 | 7.5 | 26.5–27 |
| 42.5 | 9 | 10.5 | 8 | 27–27.5 |
| 43 | 9.5 | 11 | 8.5 | 27.5–28 |
| 44 | 10 | 11.5 | 9 | 28–28.5 |
| 44.5 | 10.5 | 12 | 9.5 | 28.5–29 |
| 45 | 11 | 12.5 | 10 | 29–29.5 |
| 45.5 | 11.5 | 13 | 10.5 | 29.5–30 |
| 46 | 12 | 13.5 | 11 | 30–30.5 |
| 47 | 12.5 | 14 | 11.5 | 30.5–31 |
Where two UK sizes are shown they are men’s / women’s. Foot length is approximate. Sizes in between the rows, such as 41.5, sit halfway between their neighbours.
Fit notes by brand
General tendencies, not guarantees. Fit changes from model to model, so treat these as a nudge.
- Nike. Often described as fitting a touch snug. If you are between sizes, go up half a size.
- On. Length is usually true to size. Some models have a snug, narrower toe box, so wider feet may like half a size up.
- Adidas. Generally true to size for running. Adidas suggests about half a thumb’s width of space in front of your longest toe.
- Asics. Many running models fit snugly through the front of the foot. Runners commonly go up half a size.
- New Balance. Generally true to size in length. Some running models can feel narrow up front, so half a size up is a safe call if you are in between.
Frequently asked questions
What if I’m between two sizes?
Go with the larger one. Your feet swell a little when you run, and a bit of room at the toes is far more comfortable than a tight fit.
Should I buy running shoes half a size bigger?
Many runners do, and it’s a sensible rule of thumb: you want roughly a thumb’s width between your longest toe and the end of the shoe. If you mostly wear them for walking and everyday errands, your usual size is often fine. Check the fit notes above for the brand you’re after.
I have wide feet. What should I do?
Going longer doesn’t add width, so measure the broadest part of your foot too. Brands and models differ a lot here and not every model comes in a wide version. Message us on WhatsApp with the shoe you like and we’ll tell you how it tends to fit.
Can I exchange if the size turns out wrong?
Our exchange policy covers items that arrive damaged, defective or different from your order, reported within 7 days of delivery. All sales are otherwise final, so it’s worth getting the size right before you order.
If you’re unsure, message us on WhatsApp first. We’re happy to help you pick a size.
Do you sell half sizes?
Yes, where the brand makes them. Each shoe page lists the EU sizes we have in stock for every colour.
